My 2018 Book Report
2018 was a fantastic year. I published two of my own books and somehow managed to read more than a hundred others. I’m still working on hitting my goal of one hundred twenty-five and I think I might just make it, but I wanted to get my book report in for those of you still shopping for book gifts. In 2018 I celebrated the release of Tiger’s Dream in March and The Lantern’s Ember in September. “Every girl should have a rendezvous with a fictional man.” www.belcastroagency.com In no particular order, here is the list of my book boyfriends along …
Ring Out the Old, Ring in the New!
It’s that time of year when I celebrate a milestone. Not only have I published two books this year, my 8th and 9th, but I have two coming in 2018. Tiger’s Dream is finally coming in March and then in the fall, my retelling of the headless horseman story, The Lantern’s Ember, my 11th book, will be released on September 11th. 2017 was a good year! 2018 will be even better! As cool as that is, it’s not the milestone I’m talking about. For the first time ever, I met my Goodreads goal of reading 125 books! I …
Top Ten Ways to get Luck on your Side
TOP TEN BEHAVIORS THAT MAKE ME FEEL LUCKY Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone! Today is one of those holidays where you see shamrocks and pots of gold, little leprechauns and people dressed in green for a spot o’ good luck. You may also hear or have heard at some point in time, the old adage, “the luck o’ the Irish”. It comes as no surprise that Irish history is riddled with superstitious beliefs involving cats and mirrors and ghosts, so why not have a special day where a bunch of luck shines down on those sporting their clovers of green with rainbows and pots of gold? While …

Ten Gifts to Give an Author
Since Valentine’s Day is near, I’ve been thinking about something I’d like other than chocolate, which, in my opinion, is pretty much the best gift ever. Here’s a list of some cute things I’ve found on Pinterest that an author might like to get for Valentines Day, a birthday, Christmas, or an anniversary. These are all pinned on my Just Cute board. A New Desk This one comes from Design Toscano, which is one of the places I go to frequently to find statues for my curio cabinets. This desk is little small for what I want in my future …

My Top Ten 2017 New Year’s Resolutions
Good morning and HELLO 2017 and hello to all of you reading this blog! Each and every January comes with it a sense of new beginnings, second chances, self reflection and fresh opportunities to make those changes for the better and to finally tackle that bucket list. So this year, I decided to not overwhelm myself with trying to tackle everything all at once and instead pick a …
